so, i went for some bloodwork on Saturday as the doctor wanted to check out a few things. i got a call lastnight to say the doctor wanted to see me.
it startled me a bit, as i am used to lab results taking over a week to process..so i got in the car and went right to the walk-in clinic to get my results. having to wait 2 hours sure beats worrying about it for days.
so many possibilities were running through my head: pregnancy, fertility problems, PCOS, kidney problems...as the doc tested for a wide range of things.
turns out, it is just my old thyroid. i am on meds, but apprently they just need to be upped - phew! hopefully this increase in meds will help out the weight loss efforts a bit, as i feel like my weight hasn't budged in so long (even when i am completely OP).
i have to go back for more bloodwork at the end of june, to make sure that the increase in my dose was sufficient. nothing to worry about at all!
